GT Advance, not GTA. That's what I expected when I heard GTA was coming to GBA. Oh well. Who cares when you get Playstation beating graphics.
Remember all that hoo-ha ages ago about PlayStation-quality Gran Turismo-style graphics on Game Boy Advance?
Well, here they are, almost. But is GT Advance a delight to play?

This came is so realisic it has 46 real life cars. Can you remember all of them?

GT Advance is one of the few launch titles that really show off what GBA is capable of visually, in full 'Mode 7' 3D, with some impressively detailed motors. But an unexpected treat comes when you turn up the GBA's humble speaker and enjoy the different engine sounds of all the cars - in stereo through headphones- plus the odd thumpin' choon. Smart.
As ever, there's the odd niggle, such as a low-slung camera that blurs the horizon a little, and you'll run into some near-invisible track boundaries - but these are soon overshadowed by the sheer quality and effort that's gone into GT Advance, making it one of the best choices for GBA owners already.

However, for all our enthusiasm and all the excellence present, there's one huge caveat to our recommendations. THQ, in a cost-cutting move sure to infuriate people everywhere, have removed the battery memory back-up and implemented a password system instead. As such, it's a real, absolute pain to restore your game every time you switch your GBA on, as you have to input plenty of fiddly characters.
